(Twin Falls) - The Sheridan College Generals saw 11 players score, 6 in double-digits, as they defeated Impact Academy 102-72 in the final day of the College of Southern Idaho Hilex Poly Invitational. The Generals were led by Ron Mvouika who scored 19 points, pulled down 8 rebounds, dished out 6 assists, and netted 3 steals in 18 minutes of action. Tate Stensgaard contributed 14 points in the outing, also pulling down 8 rebounds. Freshman guard Iakeem Alston scored 12 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists in the contest. While forwards Brandon Pines, Isaac Oeltjen, and John Ruffin all scored in double figures.
Despite a poor team shooting performance, the Generals dominated the glass, out-rebounding Impact 63-44. The Generals demonstrated their ability to share the ball by netting 31 assists on their 44 field goals. The Generals move to 4-1 on the season and are back in action this weekend in Powell, Wyoming where they will take on Northeastern Junior College at 3:30 pm MST.
