Generals Add Milwaukee Standout

(Milwaukee, WI) – The Sheridan College Generals picked up their first commitment for the 2013-2014 season from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Riverside stand-out RaVonn Posey. The 6’8, 290 lb senior averaged 9.6 points per game, including a 28 point season best, while shooting 58% from the floor, and pulled down 9 rebounds a game. Posey has most recently been honored being named Milwaukee City All-Conference 2nd team for his efforts this season on the floor.

Coach Smiley commented on RaVonn’s commitment: “We’re really excited about the addition of Ravonn to our team for next year. He’s been connected to our program for the past several years as his cousin, Steve Ivory, played for us from 2008-10 and he’s been able to follow us from afar since that time. One of our greatest recruiting needs for this upcoming class is post players (as we will be losing Brandon Pines & Isaac Oeltjen to graduation), so adding Ravonn early is a great start to filling that need. Ravonn has continually improved throughout his high school career and he had a great senior season for Coach Rock Lewis at Milwaukee-Riverside. Ravonn’s visit went well, and this seems to be a great fit for everybody. We’re thrilled that he will be part of the family next year!”
