The camp is for all boys from kindergarten to the 10th grade. The camp costs $100, and campers can preregister with a $50 deposit and $50 when the camp starts, or they can register 30 minutes prior to the camp and pay in full.
The SC men's basketball camp is a great opportunity for young basketball players to work on their fundamentals and interact with Sheridan College staff and players. Each camper will receive a camp basketball, a camp t-shirt, motivational handouts, an individual workout packet, and a written individual assessment at the end of the camp.

The Sheridan College Men’s Basketball team will head to Gillette tonight to take on the Pronghorns of Gillette College. Both teams went 2-0 this weekend by beating Casper College and Western Wyoming. Those wins helped the Generals improve to a 15-4 overall record, while Gillette College is currently sitting at 16-4. Both teams are exciting to watch, and it should be a very good game.
Gillette College has a variety of different scoring weapons. They are led by Lorenzo Bonam, who averages 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. The Pronghorns score 99 points per game as a team, and currently six different players are averaging double figures.
Currently, Jamir Andrews and Pablo Rivas are leading the way for the Generals, by averaging 18 points per game and 15 points per game, respectively.
During the last outing, the Generals knocked off #14 Gillette 87-85, and ended their 19 game winning streak. The game will be played at 7:30 PM at Campbell County High School South Campus. Come out and support if you are in the area.

In the month of November, the men’s basketball team made a few visits to Highland Park Elementary School to be involved with a couple different classrooms. The first time, the Generals visited Meagan Dow’s 2nd grade class. The students took turns interviewing the men’s basketball players and practicing their reading lessons. Please see the link below for a video of one student interviewing freshman forward Tre McCallum.
Different members from the basketball team visited Kerri Parr-Cook’s music class, where they sang Christmas songs to help prepare the children for their annual Christmas recital. With all the music and singing, a dance battle broke out between one student and sophomore forward Bennie Lufile. The link to the video is posted below.
The Sheridan College Men’s Basketball team would like to be involved as much as possible with the Sheridan community. If you know of any volunteer opportunities for our student-athletes, please contact Tom Parks at 307-674-6446 ext. 4003 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
