SC Men’s Hoops Travel to Gillette

The Sheridan College Men’s Basketball team will head to Gillette tonight to take on the Pronghorns of Gillette College. Both teams went 2-0 this weekend by beating Casper College and Western Wyoming. Those wins helped the Generals improve to a 15-4 overall record, while Gillette College is currently sitting at 16-4. Both teams are exciting to watch, and it should be a very good game.

Gillette College has a variety of different scoring weapons. They are led by Lorenzo Bonam, who averages 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. The Pronghorns score 99 points per game as a team, and currently six different players are averaging double figures.

Currently, Jamir Andrews and Pablo Rivas are leading the way for the Generals, by averaging 18 points per game and 15 points per game, respectively.

During the last outing, the Generals knocked off #14 Gillette 87-85, and ended their 19 game winning streak. The game will be played at 7:30 PM at Campbell County High School South Campus. Come out and support if you are in the area.
