Generals Defense Silences Bears 87-39

(Sheridan) - On an evening in which every General that suited up found their way into the scoring column, the offensive production was not the key factor in a Generals win. The Sheridan College Generals held the Rocky Mountain Bears to 39 points on the game, 14 of which came in the second half. Forwards Robert Heyer and Brandon Pines both scored 13 points for the Generals on the path to a 87-39 victory; helping the Generals improve to a 9-0 record on the season. Freshman guard Wayne Bradford also scored in double-digits, contributing 12 points, with 4 steals. Khion Sankey once again pieced together a complete game for the Generals by leading the defensive effort on the night, while scoring 8 points, grabbing 6 boards, and dishing out a game high 5 assists. The Generals are back in action Friday December 2nd at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome at 7 PM in the Holiday Inn Tournament.
