(Sheridan) – The Sheridan College Generals move to 15-4, 4-1
in Region IX North play, with a 67-55 victory over the Western Wyoming
Mustangs. While the Mustangs shot 47% from beyond the arc, it was 16 offensive
rebounds by the Generals that helped to neutralize a hot shooting Western Wyoming
team. The Generals out-rebounded the Mustangs
38-24 on the night.
The Generals were led by freshman forward Tate Stensgaard
who notched another double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore guard Ron Mvouika netted 16 points
on the evening, while pulling down 8 rebounds as well. Victor Bermudez tallied in 14 points,
including four 3-point field goals, while also dishing out 6 assists, and grabbing
5 rebounds.
The Generals are back in action Wednesday, January 16th
in Glendive, Montana as they take on Dawson College at 7:30 PM.
