(Glendive, MT) – A cold shooting, turnover plagued first half saw the Generals off to a slow start Wednesday night in Glendive, Montana. The Generals entered halftime against Dawson Community College with a 29-26 lead. However, an offensive surge led by 53.8% shooting from the field pushed the lead to 13 points by the end of the game, giving the Generals their 16th win of the season behind a 68-55 victory. The Generals now move to 5-1 in Region IX North play.
Sophomore guard Ron Mvouika led the Generals with a
game-high 19 points, and game-high 9 rebounds.
Freshman forward Tate Stensgaard chipped in 15 points while going 4-5
from the field and 7-8 from the charity stripe.
Sophomore guard Victor Bermudez also scored in double figures, netting
11 points, including 3 three-point field goals.
The Generals dominated the glass, out-rebounding the Buccaneers 38-22.
The Generals are back in action this Saturday, January 19th
as they host the Miles Community College Pioneers at the Bruce Hoffman Golden
Dome at 5:00 pm.
