Dure Receives All Region Honor

Sheridan College sophomore guard Frederic Dure receives the Generals sole All-Region IX honor this season.  Dure, the 2^nd leading vote recipient, averaged 15.1 points per game this season for the Generals in 26 minutes of action while shooting 48% from the field, 35% from beyond the arc, and 77% from the charity stripe. Fred averaged 4.4 rebounds per game and 2 assists per game this season while helping lead the Generals to a 25-5 record, finishing 2^nd in Region IX North.  In two seasons for the Generals Fred has scored 738 points and won 49 games.

Coach Smiley had this to say about Fred: “We’re really proud of Fred and this accomplishment. In a league as deep and talented as North Region 9, to be named 1^st-Team All-Region is a great feat. Fred has improved as much as any player we've had over a two-year period and he’s very deserving of this award.”
