(Sheridan) – Former Sheridan College standouts Antoine
Proctor and JR Cadot have signed professional contracts to play in the top
professional basketball league in Slovakia. Proctor has signed with the MBK Handlova
basketball club, and Cadot has signed with BK Spu Nitra.
Cadot signs his first professional contract after finishing
his collegiate career at TCU where averaged 11.4 points on 50% shooting and 7
rebounds a game in his senior season. He was also named to the All-Mountain
West Third Team.
Proctor completed his career at Montana State
University-Billings where he averaged 18.7 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per
game while being named the GNAC Newcomer of the Year, and earning a First Team
All-Conference selection and First Team All-Region selection.
Proctor & Cadot competed for the Generals during the
2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons. Both
earned All-Region selections for the Generals while compiling a 54-13 record.
