(Sheridan) – An offensive explosion in the first half of Wednesday night’s game against the Dawson College Buccaneers allowed the Sheridan College Generals to never trail in the contest. A 9-12 three-point shooting clinic in the first half gave the Generals a 45-38 lead at the break.
Freshman guard Victor Bermudez went 5-6 from beyond the arc, finishing the game with 15 points on the night. R.J. Leverette also connected on 3 three-point attempts, also finishing with 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the Generals. Khion Sankey & Ron Mvouika rounded out the double-digit scorers for the Generals by each contributing 11 points in the victory.
A 61% shooting night from beyond the arc, and 54% from the overall field, helped to lead the Generals to their 15th win on the season, and fourth win in Region IX North play.
