SC Generals Knock Off Wyoming All Stars

The SC Generals Men's Basketball team took on an all-star squad comprised of 7 former college basketball players on Tuesday, November 18th at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome.  The All-Stars came out on fire as they were able to connect on seven 3-pointers in the first half.  Going into the break, the Generals held a close lead 42-40.

After giving up 40 first half points, the Generals picked up their intensity on the defensive end, only giving up 5 field goals in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half, and cruising to a 110-69 victory.

The Generals had 5 players in double figures, while every General that played scored at least 5 points.  Leading the way was freshman forward, Tre McCallum with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.  Sophomore guard, Jamir Andrews helped the cause as he finished with 18 points, 15 of them coming in the 2nd half.  Tyler Hopkins, freshman point guard from Palm Coast, FL, came off the bench and added 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists.  Freshmen, Pablo Rivas and Terrell Butler chipped in with 13 and 11 points respectively.

With the win, the Generals move to 6-2 on the season, and head to Casper College this weekend to take on Planet Athlete Prep out of Arizona on Friday.  On Saturday, the Generals take on Region IX foe, Eastern Wyoming.
