(Crow Agency, MT) – The Sheridan College Generals opened up
Region IX North play with an impressive 107-71 victory over the Little Big Horn
Rams. A mixture of hot shooting and
rebounding helped lead the Generals to their first Region IX North victory of
the year. Every General in action scored
on the evening, led by Victor Bermudez (Las Vegas, NV) who had a game high 23
points, including 7 three-point baskets. Freshman guard X-Keem Jones (Wilson,
NC) scored 15 points for the Generals, including 3 three-point field goals, and
pulled down a game high 8 rebounds.
Frederic Dure, Ron Mvouika, and Iakeem Alston rounded out the rest of
the Generals who scored in double-figures; netting 13,12, and 11 points respectively.
The Generals shot 56% from beyond the arc and 46% from the
field in the game. A rebounding
domination helped the Generals win the war on the glass, 57-41, including 24
offensive rebounds. The Generals are
back in action this Saturday, December 8th, as they take on
Northwest College at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome at 5:00 PM.
