(Williston, ND) – In a low-scoring, defensive effort, the
Sheridan College Generals moved to 12-3 on the season after a 59-57 defeat of
the Williston State College Tetons Monday night in Williston, North
Dakota. The Generals held the Tetons to
23 points in the second half on 26% shooting from beyond the arc, and 35% from
the field. Sophomore guard Victor
Bermudez led the Generals with 13 points, including three 3-point field goals.
Freshman guard Joe Kiely scored 10 points, going a perfect 5-5 from the field
and nabbed 5 steals. Freshman guard
Iakeem Alston also scored in double figures, notching 10 points while going 4-4
from the foul line.
The Generals are back in action this Friday, December 14th
as they take on Gillette College in the 3rd Annual Sneaker Slam at
the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome at 7:30 PM.
