Tell
Shannon, a 6’2” guard from Broadus, Montana has committed to play for the
Sheridan College Generals next season. An All-State Montana selection, Shannon
played for Broadus High School this past season where he led the Hawks in
scoring, rebounding, assists, and blocked shots. Tell averaged 12.3 points and
9.4 rebounds a game for the Hawks and was also selected to play in the Billings
All-Star Class B Classic. A standout on
the football field and on the track, Tell was selected All-Conference in football
and track.
Coach Smiley had this to say about Tell: “Tell is another
nice piece to this year’s recruiting class. We really like his toughness, how
hard he plays, and his ability to score from the perimeter. We see Tell mainly
playing the shooting guard position, but could fill into our other guards spot
as well if needed. He has a scorer’s mentality and the ability to shoot from
deep range. He’ll be an excellent addition to our team.”
