Wells, a 6’1 guard from Peoria Richwoods High School, averaged 15.7 points, 2.3 assists, and 1.4 steals a game this season while shooting 82% from the foul line and netting 74 3-point field goals on the season. "Preston is exactly the type of player we were looking for to hopefully round out our recruiting class. He's a big Point Guard that has a great feel for the game, defends really well, and can really shoot the ball and stretch the defense. We've been following Preston's progress for quite a while and feel like he'll be a great addition to our program. He should have an immediate impact this fall.”

Jamir has a special ability to score the ball in several different ways, and is extremely hard to guard because of his versatility, strength, and his ability to both shoot and get to the rim. He’s been connected to our program for the past several years as his cousin, Steve Ivory, played for us from 2008-10 and he’s been able to follow us from afar since that time. One of our greatest recruiting needs for this upcoming class is post players (as we will be losing Brandon Pines & Isaac Oeltjen to graduation), so adding Ravonn early is a great start to filling that need.
