Hot Shooting Helps Generals Top Tetons


The Sheridan College Generals improve to 7-0 on the year with a 92-81 victory over the Williston State Tetons at the Northwest College Tournament. Sophomore forward Lamont Prosser led the high octane Generals offense by scoring a team high 18 points in the win. Freshman guard Ron Mvouika once again found himself in double figures by contributing 16 points, while pulling down a game high 8 rebounds. Robert Heyer, sophomore forward, had a career high 16 points on 6-7 shooting from the field and 4-5 performance from the foul line, sinking a pair of key technical free-throws. A hot shooting streak continues to help the Generals score away from the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome. Sheridan shot 62% from the field for the game and 53% from beyond the arc. The Generals are back in action this Friday night at 7:30 pm at home for the Lions Club Tournament against Little Big Horn College.

Hot Shooting Night Collars The Bulldogs



(Powell) - A hot shooting night from the field helped the Sheridan College Generals stay undefeated on the year improving their record to 6-0 with a win over the University of Montana Western. The Generals were led by Sophomore forward Jermaine Lippert who score 18 points on perfect shooting night, going 8-8 from the field, including one three point basket. Lippert also led all rebounders pulling down 7 caroms. Lamont Prosser and Ron Mvouika both added in 11 points for a Generals team that scored 84 points on the night, shooting 61% as a team. Khion Sankey once again had an all-around performance by scoring 8 points and dishing out 7 assists. Every General that saw action against the Bulldogs found their way into the scoring column.



The Generals held the Bulldogs to 61 points on the night, and forced them into 15 turnovers. Sheridan hopes to continue their success tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 pm when they face the Williston State Tetons in the second day of the Northwest College Tournament.

Generals Move To 5-0 On The Year


The Generals continue their hot start to the season by defeating Eastern Wyoming College 78-55, moving the Generals to 5-0 on the year. Sheridan once again saw 5 players score in double digits as the Generals connected on 57% of their field goals. Freshman guard Wayne Bradford led all scored with 17 points, connecting on 3 three-point field goal attempts, and dishing out 3 assists on the night. Victor Bermudez and Ron Mvouika both added 13 points in the Generals effort. Bermudez showed his outside shooting ability by going 3-5 from three, while dishing out 3 assists. Mvouika provided an all-around effort for the Generals by grabbing 8 boards, dishing out 5 assists, and showing his defensive presence with 2 steals and a blocked shot.

Prosser helped the Generals dominate the paint by scoring 12 points, connecting on 4-5 from the foul line, and grabbing 6 boards. Rob Heyer picked up where he left off the night before with an 11 point effort, going 4-4 from the field and 3-3 from the charity stripe. Heyer also pulled down 4 boards and dished out 2 assists for the Generals.

The Generals are back in action this Friday, November 18th, as they face Williston State College in Powell, Wyoming at the Northwest College Tournament.

Heyer Pushes Generals Past Golden Eagles


Robert Heyer was one of five Generals that scored in double digits Friday night against Laramie County, but it was the jump shot that he scored with seconds left that helped the Generals defeat the Eagles 78-76. The Eagles erased a 14 point Generals lead in the second half to tie the game at 76 with less than twelve seconds to go as freshman guard Victor Bermudez found Heyer at the top of the key with time winding down and overtime in sight. Heyer took one dribble and knocked down the shot with only .3 seconds left in the game securing a Generals win. Heyer finished the game with a solid effort of 10 points and 5 rebounds, 3 of which came on the offensive glass.

Generals big man Lamont Prosser continued to lead the Generals in scoring as he poured in 23 points, going 9-13 from the foul line, and grabbed 9 rebounds. Freshman guard Ron Mvouika continued to impress by contributing 15 points and 6 rebounds, including a thunderous dunk over Laramie County big man, and Texas Tech commit, Rodrigo Silva. Victor Bermudez and Wayne Bradford both added 10 points in the Generals win.

Generals Halt the Huskies of Air Force Prep; Also Defeat Stone Child College


(Gillette) – The Sheridan College Men’s Basketball Team continued their strong season start by picking up a pair of neutral site wins over the weekend at the Gillette College Tournament. On Friday afternoon the Generals took down a highly talented Air Force Prep team 79-55. The Generals defense held the Huskies to 20 points in the first half by limiting their 3-point field goal percentage to 14.3%. Khion Sankey (SO-Stockton, CA) lead the Generals on the floor by scoring a game high 12 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists. Jermaine Lippert (SO- Germay) and RJ Leverette (FR-Kansas City, MO) both reached double digit scoring for the Generals pouring in 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Generals continued their play on Saturday facing Stone Child College from Elder, Montana. The Generals proved too much for Stone Child as they dominated from the tip and won the game with a final score of 113-39. Generals sophomore Rolands Narkis (SO – Latvia) led all scorers with 16 points on the game, two of which came off an alley-oop dunk from Robert Heyer (SO- Worland, WY). The Sheridan College freshman contributed greatly to this win, with 4 of newcomers scoring in double digits. RJ Leverette (FR- Kansas City, MO) scored 12 points, along with three 3-point field goals, Victor Bermudez (FR-Las Vegas, NV) also connected on three 3-pointers and pulled down 8 rebounds on his way to 11 points. Wayne Bradford (FR- Baltimore, MD) & Ron Mvouika (FR- France) each added 11 points in the Generals effort.

The Generals have started 3-0 on the season and look to continue their success this weekend as they travel to Torrington Wyoming to play in the Eastern Wyoming Tournament where they will face Laramie County & Eastern Wyoming.

Generals scale the Tetons with a 84-63 victory


Sheridan – As the Generals opened up their regular season in front of a home crowd, the anticipation filled the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome for the upcoming season. Coming off a second straight Region IX Championship game berth, the Generals are looking to advance to Hutchinson, Kansas for the Sweet 16 of the NJCAA National Tournament.

Fueled by a stellar performance by preseason Sporting News Super Sophomore Lamont Prosser, freshman guard Ron Mvouika, and sophomore forward Jermaine Lippert, the Generals earned their first victory of the season with an 84-63 win over Williston State College (ND). Prosser poured in 19 points for the Generals on 7-11 shooting, connecting on 5-6 from the charity stripe. Mvouika added in 17 as he went 2-2 from three-point range and connected on all five of his free throws. Jermaine Lippert solidified the inside presence of the Generals as he scored 14 points, including 2 three-point baskets, and pulled down 7 rebounds.

The Generals defense held the Tetons to only 1 three-point field goal in the game and held them to a 40% shooting night from the field. Freshman guard Marquel Curtis led the Tetons with 19 points, scoring 11 of which were from the foul line. The Generals are back in action November 4th & 5th in Gillette Wyoming where they will face Air Force Preparatory Academy and Stone Child College.
